PROJECT SUMMARY

Bridges of Colour – Crafting Peace and Unity through Art is a transformative project aimed at engaging and empowering youth across Europe, with a special focus on the impacts of the conflict in Ukraine. Using artistic expression, the project creates spaces for healing, dialogue, and mutual understanding, encouraging young people to become peacebuilders.

Participants take part in hands-on workshops led by local artists, exploring mural painting, textile arts, sculpture, music, and drama. These activities develop not only artistic skills but also essential life skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.

The project fosters cultural exchange, empathy, and cooperation, building lasting relationships among youth from diverse backgrounds. A central activity is the creation of a collective artwork, which will be exhibited publicly and digitally, symbolizing the project’s message and the power of art to bridge cultures and communities.

Through Bridges of Colour, young people grow personally and professionally while contributing to a more peaceful, united, and resilient society.
